YOUNG ADULT

Some of you may think this is too crazy to be worn to the mall but hey! No one stopped me from doing it, so I just did it. Aaahh the perks of being a young adult!
As I've learned from my SCL 9 class: according to Erikson, a young adult ranges from 18-35 years old (I'm 19, just in case you don't know) and for me, being in this time of my life means to live young and free!!! But being responsible as well. :)
In terms of fashion, I am still eligible to wear plunged backs, cropped tops, shorts, sky high heels, crazy prints, eye-burning neons... you get it now right? Hence, the choice of neon green and medieval joker-inspired leggings (Do they call them 'joker'? Help me out here haha!) Plus, I added a clutch that looks like a book, which my parents think is very very weird (sometimes they don't get my choice of accessories hehe).

Despite my love for craziness and everything young, I still have a sense of responsibility; to show that, this ensemble was constructed as if I was going to the office (cause you know, office people are responsible people. They should be). Do you see it? Haha! Maybe not because of the reflection of light on my top. But this vest, if it was in the colors white, black, or gray, it's totally wearable to the office! My mom even said she had a top like this during her working years, but in black, of course. Seeee!
And to go with my office attire, my hair was in a sleek bun and my choice of accesories were a slim ring, a simple necklace, and earrings which all match!!! (This was my first jewelry set, given to me by my mom and dad when I turned 13) Hahaha!

Whew! The story of this outfit. I seriously got exhausted from all the explaining to make sure you, my dear reader, understands my point of view. I hope you did. Hahaha!

That's how fashion is in my life. It's my medium to express myself, my stories, and my principles. Some might not get why fashion is such a big deal but as they say... an artist has his own truth and their own way of seeing the world, a scientist has his own truth and their own way of seeing the world, and so fashionistas also have their own truth and their own way of seeing the world. :)

PILES OF AZTEC

THE LAST OF MY BACKLOGS!!!

Aztec is that kind of print which can stand on its own. You don't need much accessorizing to do because the print itself captures your audience. (Hahaha! Audience talaga?!)

But since I am so in love with the print, I decided to pile it on. The problem here is that it could get messy and be unappealing to the eyes. For this ensemble it was easy for me to negate that problem since the dress is almost monotonous to blue while the clutch is to pink. So it doesn't look messy, but at the same time,  the prints from the dress and the clutch popped and matched.

I simply just love this dress because of the intelligent positioning of the sheer sections. It's conservative as well as sexy because of the back! Exactly my type of dress. (blush blush)

For the shoes, I chose to go with blue, so it would match with the dress and tone down the ensemble. Then choosing neon bracelets to add to the playfulness as well as an extra oomph!

FLY WITH ME TO CEBU

Hello readers!!! (woohoo! I have readers hahaha) I've been super busy with school and other life matters, that I haven't been able to update my small and humble blog! So now I've got so much backlogs; but no worries, I'm back in the business baby!

During our semestral break (see! What did I tell you? Backlog), my family and I went to Cebu!!! We stayed there for about 4 days - first stop was Mactan then on the third day, we drove to the city.

This is my view of Cebu from the plane, arriving!
We stayed in the Crimson Resorts in Mactan. Truly, it was one of the most beautiful resorts I've ever been and they have THE friendliest staff you'll ever meet!

For our first day, we ate outside of the hotel and found this place called Oyster Bay. It was recommended by the hotel staff, so we definitely had to try. Oysters and scallops are one of my favorites so tadaaaa!

Our 2nd day in the resort was well spent swimming! So we walked back and forth the swimming pool and the beach. Both were equally spectacular!

That's my dad and sister, doing a photoshoot hahaha!

And this was a random Korean couple. Btw, most of the guests were Koreans.

There I was feeling sexy and free. Check out my huge biceps. Haha! I'm kidding.

We even got hennas! And since my mom and dad are awesome like us, they got inked as well!

Third day was a road trip to Cebu City! But since I don't have that much photos of that day, I'll just post random stuff!

My breakfast was all about bread and pastries!

The night we got home to our cottage, we were surprised with this little critter, left by the nice housekeeping people. They even got my sister's sunglasses and wore it on this baby!

And here I am feeling hippy. Wait! Is this hippy? Maybe mildly hippy.

Day 4 was for our tour around Cebu City. First stop was the Sto. Domingo Church!

Within the boundaries of the Church was the famous Magellan's Cross.

These candles are placed underneath the cross, and they are said to be offered prayers.

Our last stop was the Taoist temple!

That's my dad showing off his tattoo cause it matches the dragon.

And finally, we went back to the hotel, packed our luggages and went back to Manila!

Next up is a run through of what I wore for the four day trip. And I must say, I was all about comfort. Different from what I usually strut.

FIRST DAY: NEONS AND PAISLEY

SECOND DAY: BEACHY DAY
Sorry I just took these photos by myself inside our room hihi

THIRD DAY: BOHO AND HIP

FOURTH DAY: ONE AND SIMPLE
I stated one cause I only have one photo. Haha!

Cebu was definitely a blast and I would gladly go back! That's it for my comeback post and I shall try my best to update consistently. :)
