CHRISTMAS COLORS

HAPPY HOLIDAYS TO EVERYONE!!!
It's that time of the year again when dinner is at midnight (termed noche buena in the Philippines), family reunions are happening in every corner, the cities are filled with lights, and everyone is wearing their cheeriest smiles!!! It's definitely the most wonderful tiiime of the year! And speaking of "wearing", all those who took the time to plan ahead what they'll be donning on this glorious once-a-year holiday, say aye!

AYE! And I am proud to say I was able to combine all Christmas color basics - red, green, and gold - without looking like one of Santa's elves. Hihi!

I would like to excuse my midget size in this photo because I was in such a rush to take this photo and the only person available was my brother who completely had no idea about photography. So this was the result. Hahaha! But it's fine. It's Christmas, so I'll forgive. For now. Bwahaha!
With that, I say, Merry Christmas to you and your family!!!

What did you wear for today's festivities? :)

QUEEN OF THE SAVANNAH

Queen of The Savannah... NOT!
Yeah, I know it's a leopard but give me a chance please? :)

Palazzo pants have been regaining its place in the fashion world and everyone is trying to get their hands on them. I was fortunate enough to get them in bold leopard prints!!!
To tame a look like this, I paired it with a black fit top and black accessories, but to embody the title 'Queen of the Savannah' I completed the look with gold accessories! Check out my gold criss-crossing necklace, fits my kingdom, don't you think? (It looks really luxurious in person I swear!)

WAIT TILL I TURN AROUND

My first nephew celebrated his christening day last week, July 29, 2012! It was super duper fun reuniting with our cousins again! Always feels good to bond and catch up with the family.

The party was conformed to Turquoise Blue and Apple Green - the decorations, centerpieces, table cloths, and especially the dessert table which was the highlight of the party, aside from the baby boy, Mikel, of course! :)

Talk about sugar rush!We even got to take home macaroons, still within the color scheme! What is strict!
But since it was a christening event, traditionally, people wore white, so here I am, trying to be traditional, being the girl in white. Haha!

This bag is vintage from Hong Kong, it has been with my mom ever since. But after so many years, it still looks stunning with all the details and the GOLD!

Don't you just love surprises?

I love how this white dress looks conservative from the front but then when you turn around tadaaaa! Clothes that have unique cuts at the back are my favorites because they're subtly sexy and they don't expose much of the body. So you can show off some skin but still look classy and smartly dressed. :)

LIKE A BOSS

I feel like the "ruthless and cynical" Miranda Priestly from The Devil Wears Prada in this black dress. I wonder how life is to boss around your subordinates in a way that abuses them emotionally and psychologically...

That would be awesome.
Haha! Kidding. But hey, just so you know, I'm sweet and bubbly, and you'll love me as a friend. :)
(Yes, I declare it! Ha!)

Anyway, going back to the outfit, bottom line is: I feel like a boss in my dress!

I really like the style of this dress: I love how the collar stands, I love that it looks like a blouse because of the presence of the buttons from the collar to the hemline, I love the sheer effect at the chest (which cannot be seen much in the photos) adding a bit of androgyny, and of course, I love the asymmetrical cut of which gives it the edge and the oomph!
Hey, this could be the women's version of a tux, don't you think? ;)

We took the photos in the 'almost-empty' parking lot of my favoooritteee mall! :)

And here is my awesome photographer!!! Tadaaaaaaaaaaaaa!
My sister, Tricia! :)
