LEATHERETTE

First day OOTD in Japan!!!
Don't you just love the leather on leather combo? It may look as if it's hot to wear but believe me it was way way colder in Japan! And yes, despite the freezing breeze, I still went out with my tummy exposed to add fun to the whole serious tomboy outfit. That's what you call "tiis ganda!" Hahaha!

The focal point of this ensemble is the jacket - my boyfriend's jacket, actually - I love the combo of cotton, made to look like denim, and the leather sleeves. Whoever made this is a genius!!! So cool and sassy! I wish I could keep this forever! Ahem ahem! *wink wink*

Anyhoo, rushing this post cause my mom's being clingy and is forcing me to have lunch with her. Hahaha! Four more outfits in store for you, Japan styleeee!

What do you think of my look?

IT'S A BOHO DAY!

I decided to pull off a modern comfy bohemian look with this red dress I got from a store in Malaysia because of the style and the length of the dress, the brown accent on the waist (making it look like a belt), and of course because of the breeziness and comfort that it provides me while wearing it.

This is my "I am awkward" pose. :|

Love love love these shoes! Super comfortable wearing them, well, I guess it's because I'm used to wearing heels. You can just imagine the bliss in my heart when I got home and there was no sign of any pain!

I feel like I'm sitting on my boho throne. Haha!

PRIM GIRL

Here I am, finally starting on my first outfit post. Forgive my amateur photos :)

The dress reminds of the 40s style, but so much modernized because of the cuts on the midriff and the length of the dress, so this style is  what I call 'contemporized 40s'.

Forgive my messy house, cause it's under renovation. Haha

Here's a clear view of the intensity of the colors I am wearing. :)
Seeing that the inside lighting doesn't really work, we decided to take it outside.

Jellybean dress | Herbench cardigan | Wengski and Tomski necklace

Back in the that era, long gloves were very popular, so instead of gloves, I wore a cardigan to keep my arms at bay and to keep the ensemble looking conservative.

TOX rings

To finish it off, I wore gold and pearl accessories to match the $$$RICH$$$ vibe of the people during the 40s era.

After, a good day's shoot, I smile. :D

INSPIRATION BOARD

When I become famous and die, this will be part of my memorabilia: Lyka Atienza's first blog post. Hahaha! (Who am I kidding?) Anyway, cheers to my first ever post on "Histrionic Dresser"!

When you open your closet, and you see piles and piles of clothing but cannot find anything to wear.. I'm telling you "Girl, you need some inspiration."

In 'My Documents' - yes, I am talking about my laptop - I keep a folder of photos on clothes and fashion, that I grabbed from the net and entitled it INSPIRATION. These photos give me ideas on what my next outfit could be, helping me decide on what I can do with the white tee that's just sitting on the shelves of my closet for 2 months, or with the jeans that I've been pairing tank tops with for the whole season. You can do the same, instead of just stocking everything in your memory, why not save the exact image in your device's memory? Hahaha!

So here, sharing with you my inspiration board.
