AFTER NEW YEAR'S CELEBRATION

... it's back to school!!! (insert your emoji here whether a cheerful smile or a depressing frown haha!) 

So here's a back-to-school outfit for all the nerds, fashionistas, artists, and other school stereotypes. Though I think this outfit works better for the three. But you can tell me otherwise! Just comment down below. Hihi! 

I think the perfect outfit for school... should not be wearing heels! Hahaha! But for the love of blogging, I chose to wear my neon heels from Primadonna to match with my green collar necklace from Yhansy. For school, you need the perfect set of jeans because they're one of the most comfortable pieces you'll ever wear in your life, aside from boxers of course! Another comfy necessity is a fun, cozy sweater! You need this one especially if you'll be inside an air conditioned room the whole day. And yes! It has to be fun like my "Find your inner Smurf" sweater from Forever 21; with all the long hours in class and the stressful deadlines, the least you can do is wear something that will liven up your spirits! Finally, the cherry on top of your school-ready style should be a tote like this mine from Lancel that's big enough to carry all essentials for school, grooming, and hygiene. You don't want to look and smell like you only had two hours of sleep, even if you actually had only two hours of sleep. :) 

And to add another element for this outfit so I'd look more studious... 

Yay or nay? Hahaha! 

So prepare your minds and bodies because vacation is oveeeeer! But don't be dismayed because summer is just 3 MONTHS AWAY!!!

THE SHEEREST WAY TO START THE YEAR

Don't you think that this skirt is just to die for??? I love the colors and the ombre magic of this clothing!!! Whew. I'm going crazy just describing it! :)

I think this is how one should enter a new year, a new beginning: you should be floating on air, like how light and breezy this skirt feels; you should have a colorful palette for the moment you start to paint your canvass of life; and your heart should be calm and at peace, despite the chaos of this world, just like the calmness of this whole ensemble.

I give myself a pat on the back for creating this look. I think it would be one of my favorite ensembles for 2013. Hihi! I wore this to our family reunion, mom's side, actually.
First time I saw the skirt, I immediately fell in love with it! I didn't even want to try it on for fear of not looking good on me (Thank God, everything went well in the fitting room) and so the skirt became my starting point.

Since it was a family affair, I opted to wear this simple blush pink, collared, SHEER top (I really did the sheerest way to start the year haha!), it perfectly fitted the occasion! It was sexy enough and at the same time conservative enough for the people I'm with. Plus, the blush pink color continued the ombre effect with the peach shade of the skirt, giving the illusion of length!

Any comments on my accessories? I chose mint green and jade for my accessories to make it more fun, adding pops of color never hurts! Plus, the colors were light enough so as not to destroy the unity of the outfit.

Oh and have you seen my book bag? It's fabulous, I know!

Whew! I've said so many things already. Too hyped about this outfit.

STARTING 2013 WITH A BANG!

This is the work of Patricia Atienza. This girl is a multimedia artist! She is a painter, an aspiring architect, and now, she is slowly creeping to the world of photography. 

And since, I, the ate, is an aspiring model, who by the way only has one blank expression, we decided to collaborate and end 2012 with a BANG - a mini photo shoot.
